Ministry of Youth and Sports has urged the National Sports Authority to from henceforth admit “ONLY FULLY VACCINATED” match day supporters  into our various national stadium.

This direction also as stated by the press release affects the World Cup qualifier match between the Black Stars of Ghana and the Super Green Eagles of Nigeria on 25th March,2022 as well as the president cup between Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak on Friday,4th March, 2022.

In view of this, Ghana Health Service will mount Vaccination Centers at Kumasi, Accra, Cape Coast, Tamale and Takoradi one week before the Ghana-Nigeria match .

Vaccination Centers will also be mounted at the Accra Sports Stadium on 4th March,2022 by the COVID-19 Task Force and the Ghana Health Service to vaccinate fans willing to watch the local derby.

The National Sports Authority has also been tasked to ensure that COVID-19 protocols like wearing of Nose Mask, washing of hands, Social distancing and use of hand sanitizer is strictly enforced on Match days.
