“The current leadership of the Ghana Football Association does not want Asante Kotoko to succeed” he said

In his view, the match review panel of the GFA has not been fair to Kumasi Asante Kotoko as there have been matches played months ago in which officiation didn’t live up to expectations and these cases have duly been brought before the GFA but  None of them, he emphasized, has been dealt with but a match played between Kotoko and Hearts a few weeks ago has had referee Paddy suspended for the rest of the season.

“This has a lot to do with Nana Yaw Amponsah. Kurt Okraku sees Nana Yaw Amponsah as a rival and a threat to his presidency. This is why his antagonism has been extended to Asante Kotoko” Kwaku Yeboah indicated.

The sports journalist entreated Asante Kotoko to remain focused on the rest of the matches and win the league as a slack would cost the team.
