The National Executive Committee of the University Teachers Association of Ghana will today, February 21st, 2022 hold a crunch meeting.

We’re not returning to the classroom on Monday – UTAG

The meeting is scheduled to be held at the University of Professional Studies, Accra at exactly 4:00pm to evaluate and discuss the ongoing strike.

In a letter released by the teaching body serving a notice to the members of the National Executive Committee, it encouraged members to keep time and attend as expected of them.

UTAG NEC meeting

The outcome of this meeting would be key to stakeholders especially the student populace as most of them are expecting the strike to be called off after this meeting.

However, the results will only be known after this meeting.


UTAG has since 10th January, 2022 embarked on industrial strike after the government failing to implement some agreed better conditions of service which has been there since 2012.
