NUGS calls on KNUST school council to reverse decision to defer 6,000 students

The National Union of Ghana Students had called on the school council of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, KNUST to as a matter of urgency rescind decision to defer students.

The newly elected executives of the mother association of Ghana Students made this claim today, Thursday April 21,2022 through a press statement

We humbly request the management of KNUST to the policy for the time-being and give room for further engagements and time periods as stakeholders work to mitigate the crisis hand. The letter said

NUGS also used the opportunity to call on the government of Ghana to immediately intervenein order to avert the current situation through assistance from the Students Loan Trust Fund (STLF)
