University of Ghana without Lights: Check Why

This was after the Electricity Company of Ghana gave them a 72-hour ultimatum to pay a debt of over GHC 33 million.

In a letter served to the University management by the Electricity Company of Ghana, the University was threatened of experiencing total black out on their campus should they fail to pay the dev’t incurred over time.

Currently, Wednesday 14th April, 2022, the University campus has been without light for the past one day and is expected to continue till the University pays the debt incurred or something worthwhile happens.
